Documentary photography, by Miami-based photographer Rodrigo Gaya Villar, spans two decades of human experience across Latin America and the United States. Projects include Vochos Unidos — a five-year photobook documenting Mexico's Volkswagen Beetle culture — Vivos se los Llevaron, a visual response to the 2014 Ayotzinapa 43 forced disappearances, street portraiture from Mexico City's Centro Histórico and Pride celebrations, and documentary series from Wynwood, Miami.
