Are you interested in furthering your photographic practice to someday turn it into a profession? Maybe you find yourself stuck, with no passion to pick up a camera. Let me help you develop a keen photographic eye - with the camera as your tool, to document the world around you. - Course: We'll work off your level of photographic experience to develop your eye, passion, and technique. We'll shoot photo assignments, do portfolio reviews, work on style development, and create an editing process that works for you, for any photographic endeavor. For beginners, we'll cover the basics completely, but efficiently. The three basic elements of the Exposure Value formula, and how each works in relation to the other. This you'll have to memorize. Then, we jump into the theory of the photographic experience. What does it mean to make an image, or to freeze a moment in time? We'll look into how photography can help teach you to see the world in a much gentler, direct way. Light is doing its magic at all times, why the urge to photograph a moment sometimes? How do we interact with our subjects/surroundings to create an image which captures the soul of an impermanent moment? Lesson Plans will be designed to fit each photographer's ability. Each lesson plan is developed to your personal needs. Back up any old images to a computer (second back up to external memory recommended.) Place it in a visible place at home, and let curiosity take over. Extra credit if you've read your camera's manual.

Cancellation Policy

Two days prior notice for cancellation. No shows are not refunded. Up to 12 hrs prior rescheduling. Bookings are subject to cancellation by photographer 24 hrs prior to any shoot, fully refunded or applied to another date.
