Volcanic sand mixes on the shoreline as a couple of birds take advantage of the receding waves on Revolcadero beach in Acapulco Mexico.

This series of 5 images showcases the sequence of the natural process on the shoreline. Creating these dynamic patterns as the swell washes up and out into the ocean.
