Vochos Unidos Solo Booth at Feria Material vol 12

For Mexico City Art Week 2026,  KDR  presented a curated selection of my Vochos Unidos photos at Feria Material from Feb 5th - Feb 8th

Katia Rosenthal is a critically acclaimed art gallerist focusing on contemporary works with up-and-coming artists throughout the US. She took a leap of faith to be the first to show a small curated selection of this work to the art world, and for that, I'm forever grateful.

Vochos Unidos is an art/street/documentary photography project that takes a deep look into Mexican culture by using the classic VW Bug as the guiding object. The work was created during my 5 years in Mexico, as I explored my personal struggles and family history. Inspired by the unknown chaos of Mexico's daily life, through daily street photography explorations, the Vocho became the key for me to rediscover my passion for photography and country. As the Vocho fades into a relic after a long life of moving the entire population, this project hopes to create a unifying space for everyone to understand their neighbors through shared personal experiences.

What an amazing experience being able to showcase the work to so many people in Mexico City!

New Venue: Maravilla Studios

The 12th edition of Feria Material took place at Maravilla Studios in Mexico City’s Atlampa neighborhood. Adjacent to the vibrant artist community of Santa María la Ribera, this newly renovated venue marks an exciting new chapter for Latin America’s most beloved contemporary art fair.

This edition brought together 78 exhibitors from 21 countries, with over half from Latin America. Celebrated for its curatorial strength and the quality of its presentations, Feria Material features bold contemporary work, new voices, and a vibrant public program of talks, performances, and special projects.
