MIAMI | EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY COMMISSION

CORAL MORPHOLOGIC AT PAMM

February 6, 2024 - Miami, FL - Event photography from the launch of the Coral City Camera at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) — a live underwater camera broadcasting real-time footage of a living coral reef in Biscayne Bay, created by Miami-based art and science collaborative Coral Morphologic.

Founded by Colin Foord and J.D. McKay, Coral Morphologic uses cinematic macro-photography and live video to document the coral ecosystems of Miami's urban waters. The Coral City Camera launch marked a milestone for both the project and Miami's intersection of environmental science and public art.

The Coral City Camera is a live-streaming underwater camera filming a coral reef deep in the heart of Miami 24 hours a day. Its my favorite thing to watch on youtube
